Wooden Doll, designed by Kaj Frank at 1945

Many people knows Finnish designer Kaj Frank and his art glass, but how many knows his other works, like the wooden doll in this page. Only two dolls, the girl and the boy, have been produced industrially, as far as I know.
Unfortunately the manufacturer of these dolls is unknown.
The drawings of these dolls and other wooden toys were published in the booklet in 1945. The name of this booklet is "Leluja of Kotitalouskeskus". The book is meant to be a the guide for making homemade toys. In it there were also instructions for making Liisa Suvanto's, Liisa Erkelenz's, Aili Meldon's and Aino Hausmann's soft animals and rag dolls in addition to the wooden toys of Kaj Frank. A reprint of the
booklet has also been made.
